either people talk a lot on here and do nothing about it or they think this must be a wind up delivered in at £50 a ton... someone was asking £50 a ton roadside not many weeks ago for similar stuff and had dozens replys in minutes...!!

hi nick how much would a 25 ton delivery be to caerphilly, south wales. i am looking for around 25 ton every 3 months.

hi owen..looked on map... think the mileage would kill it...would be £80 ton delivered....

hi nick £750 for delivery thats a bit steep for me it would defiantly kill it. if you could get the price down a bit or know anyone closer who i could do business with please let me know. thanks for your time.

its lot more than 750 for delivern owen... £50 a ton is what i can deliver it for local to me... i'm obviously payin lot less than £50 a ton for cord... guy i bought my trailer from is in mid wales, and people we sell lot straw to in north wales say they can get hold of hardwood cord quite easily... i'll make few calls tomorrow see what i can find out.. although i bought load cord with my trailer to make it worth his while delivering it and there was lot of willow and poplar in the load.. both of which we burn on the fire in yard when we cut em down on a job, so not sure if their idea of hardwood is same as ours...

Pop and Willow are both hardwoods.

not saying there not hardwoods... oaks a hard wood but i never mention to my customers theres oak in the load cos they dont want it.. and more so with willow and poplar... i must burn 100's tons of poplar and willow in yard.. i don't really want to be buyin it in at £50 a ton

I burn a lot of willow and pop on my boiler (similar to a farm 2000)

It keeps my house lovely and warm.

I burn most of it green.

Could you not heat your own home with it or sell it some one with a boiler??

The fact that you burn it says it all, seems a bit of a waste.
