Hi guys, looking to re-home one of my Patterdale terriers, Casper.

He is just over 2yrs old, good with other dogs and people, probably not with cats :001_huh:

He is kennelled outdoors so not house trained but ive always found older dogs easy to house train if need be.He's quiet in kennells and likes plenty of excercise.

If anyone is looking for a dog and would like to give him a good home please contact me via here.

He is free to good home, thanks

They are working dogs Mick and this fella has'nt made the grade as a worker, and due to having quite a few dogs i cant keep all the ones that dont make the grade as i need to run another on to do the work so if i kept them all i'd be over run.

He would make a usefull rabbiting/ratting dog though.

He is a cracker, swap you for a Fox Terrier with Dimensia:001_rolleyes:Not house trained, barks all the time, doesnt do as its told and walks into the shed instead of the opening, but very fit and healthy:thumbup1:

Ha, ive got one like that already Stephen, nearly 14yo and still enjoys her 2 mile walk everyday :thumbup1:

14!! nice 1, mine is only 12. Poor wee thing has gone a little wonky in some departments but is as fat as a little barrel and full of life, she just gets lost easily out in a woodland walk. i would love Casper but i have enough dogs that i dont give enough time just now with work and kids.

good luck with finding her a home:thumbup1:

So what sort of work do they do then waz?

Also would it not be better to ask for a few quid (£150 maybe) so he doesn't go to any old joe but someone that is willing to pay a few quid for him.

I use them for fox work Mick, that's the problem with him not making the grade because its not something they can be taught, they either have it or they dont. I understand what you're saying regarding putting a price on him. To be honest i could put him on a hunting forum with a price tag and he would be snapped up straight away, unfortunately those places are often frequented by the sort of people who should never own a dog or any animal for that matter.I'd rather give him away to the right home when i find it.Most people on here seem a decent sort and anyone who i didnt think was right would'nt get him. There's plenty of people on the hunting forums that would give him a good home but i just know i would be inundated with enquiries from tossers and there's a high risk that once some of them know where your kennels are it wont b e long before the rest of your dogs have gone too.
