Ok for touching the teeth up on site but will not be as exact as a bench grinder with a green wheel.

This is the same disc but cheaper 115mm (4 1/2") diameter. Diamond coated wheel. | eBay

but you definitely get a better finish with a green wheel on a bench grinder.

As whats been said, there OK but no where near as accurate as a wheel and grinder. I have stopped sharpening as much to be honest, the cost of green wheels, time and all the crap of the wheels is no good.

 

I tend to "tickle" them a couple of times but if there really blunt i just use new ones.

hey isc ,i was on the phone buying a few bits and bobs and asked do you sell green wheels as mine is almost worn out and they said that the dust off them is extreemly bad for your helth and we do not sell them any more ,i cant remember who told me tho sorry
