panic fruiting of ganoderma lipsiense=APPLANATUM?

 

Ganoderma lipsiense is the preferred name in Sweden.

 

What about the oak one? I´havent come across anything like it before... its my Iphone standing on top of them!

I dont know xerxes, its a new wierdy one on me!

 

gerrit identified a parasitic root rot of oaks that is rare a while back that had a similar colouration though this probably isnt the same thing.

 

possibly pholiota of some sort, maybe squarossus with the cap scales lost in the rain.

:thumbup1: , atypical and with big FB's because of the richness of the substrate.

 

That was my impression but couldnt quite belive it, the fb.s are 30cm diameter!!!:confused1:
