Had to heavily reduce this old ash as it was falling apart,& doomed,so I convinced the client to let me make it safe,& retain as much as possible,a lot of heavy dead came out,and not a prety sight after all said & done,but she wont go over now. One dead upright I decided to retain as future habitat,& to remove it would have left the tree looking like a pigs ear,so I went for a natural fracture look,tell me if you think it unconvincing,it was my first one..
