My 252 was rubbish until I unplugged the auto-sweep.

Now it great, I just need to go steady but its so much faster without the AS.

Yea I've tried the auto sweep off. In screwed the cable but feels the same. I just dread going to grind and it should be good.

What engine is it? If it is the V Twin Kohler, then on top of the engine you can spot a lever for the choke and one for the throttle. The throttle lever set up is also linked to another lever which when the engine comes under load should move, allowing more fuel into the carb. This would give it a "boost" and when the load is taken off of the engine then the lever goes back to its original position. It may be that you aren't getting enough fuel through due to de-laminated hoses, blocked filters or the carb could do with a clean.

Do you notice any difference when engaging the clutch, if that sounds/reacts differently then you may have other issues such as a cross shaft or rotor shyaft becoming "tight".

Has this lack of power suddenly appeared after going over to the "MultiTip"?

Thanks for all the input. Haven't noticed a change in using the multi tip head. I'll go check all the ideas you guys have come up with. Thanks I'll let you know.

Sell it and go on a short holiday to the seaside, something like portobello or even north berwick if your feeling adventurous :001_tt2::lol:

That's all I could probably afford. Or Italy??
