Save a nice motor sport venue

Hi Floks

I hope the officals don`t mind this being posted ,

 

This is a petition to try and stop a cornish Oval racing track from being sold by the local council to make way for some more houses. I know one or two on here attend stock car racing/banger racing and hope others could spare two minutes to sign petition.

The organizers need 1000 signatures to make it a valid petition.

Please help and thanks if you do

Signed too, it's getting hard to find places to race or watch racing unless you circuit race. My folks can remember watching racing at St Austell speedway years ago before they knocked it down and built the cornish market there.

This is a difficult one,not to sign but to make it valid.

This happened up our neck of the woods and the council dicounted the signatures because they knew that it some were done online.

The reason they gave was because you could use multi signatures with no trace.

Fair point but i think that is why the council have said get 1000 votes and it would be considered offical

Your right i could put 250 votes form any tom, dick n harry .

 

Hope others will help them get thier 1000 votes and if it is discounted after that then ohh well we tried.

My names there and good luck.

Some council's will sell / close anything then have a fanefare in a couple of years saying what a good job they have done opening the new facilities that they closed in the first place.

Good excuse for a free lunch it doesn't matter where you live there all the same.

I've signed up, too many leisure facilities are being lost to "garden grabbers" in a short term gain attitude that is encouraged by the grabbers at central governement and the local council see building on this site as an easy way to make their targets set by the idiots in London.
