Phellinus what?

Ok, found this on a oak in the local woods a few months back (might go to see it on my way home from work tomorrow)

 

I think its a Phellinus, but a P. what?

 

I have a few more pictures but must've had a weird colour setting on when taking them as there quite "orange"

P. ferreus or feruginosus

Is that why the form of the stem is that way, because of the Phellinus?

[Fungus]

P. ferreus or ferruginosus ...

 

... or P. punctatus.
