You need to strip it down to get to the gauze filter.

Not obvious to find ideally have an exploded parts list and it will all make sense:thumbup:

or try blowing through from where the oil comes out but this will only be a short term fix but should sort it:thumbup:

Have had the same problem with mine...

 

Have you been using arboroil in it or any bio oil?

 

They seem to block up if left sitting for a while after using bio oil... strip the whole thing down and soak in thinners, petrol or solvent to get rid of it all. Easy fix.

I've only ever used mineral chainsaw oil in mine. Is the gauze filter really necessary, if it blocks regularly and is a PITA to get at?

Rainy day here so removed oil tank by removing 2 or 4 fixing screws depending on which model you have, after draining oil out of course. Clean gauze and tank, reasemble & job done. Sorted.
