Haha, I'm lucky if mine actually works on tarmac at the moment, let alone on the byways.

 

No, I was asking more from the point of view of passing on the info' to my brother who live not a million miles from you in Shaftsbury.

Yep you can pass the info onto your brother. We will be starting at the A30 end of the Old Shaftesbury drove and should be there for about 10am. Then the fun shall begin. I'm hoping for some more rain as it was more dust than mud but planning on doing lanes that we havent driven before. What vehicle does he have and does it have any modifications (other than tyres)?

With all this rain we are having its going to be a tad muddy in places. Checked the Salisbury Plain training newsletter and cant go to our favourite haunt (Chitterne/Imber) so will be focusing on around Larkhill/Bustard Inn and Bulford Barracks. From what i've heard Old Shaftesbury Drove and the Ox Drove are a touch muddy and all of the holes are full of water.
