Hi,

I might have a job coming up to clear an overgrown garden, I will weedkill then strim the weeds/brambles once the weedkiller has done its magic. I would then like to rotovate the soil so it has a nice "clean" look once I have done the job. Would a large rotovator (driven model) be up to the job of breaking up the ground? I dont really want to dig it all by hand! Any advice would be appreciated!

Regards,

Anthony.

After you've whacked it all down to ground level, I'd be gathering up all the debris and trash before I cultivate the soil. The amount of cultivation may well depend on the final use of the ground. If its just a bit of basic lawn then a rotavate, grade and rake over should be fine. If they are planning shrub borders and planting etc depending on the ground it may need a bit more effort with the cultivation.
