Hi,

I am north of Basingstoke, Hants. and want to undertake CS30 & 31 training.

I checked with Sparsholt and this comes to £1500.

Is there another more affordable alternative close to me or is the Sparsholt price about par for the course ?

Hi mate, and welcome to arb talk. firstly these courses are not cheap, but 1500 for cs30-cs31 does sound a little on the high side. You could inrole on a full time course for that sort of money! This mite sound like a daft question, but have you tried googling tree surgery/forestry training providers in you local area? Here are a couple of the best ones i know off

-Merrist wood college

-Kingswood training

-plumpton college

All the best with the course hunt you'll get ther in the end, western:thumbup:

Just finished my CS30/31 and Kingswood and it was pretty good. You get a place to stay for free as well and the company I had was great. I got taught by a bloke called Jim who was brilliant fun!

I think it came to around £900 for me
