When you want to make a rapid descent do you hold on the wrench or the hitch? Ive just received mine and have been playing around with it off a beam in the garage.....it doesnt seem like you could make a quick leap and descent just by pulling on the hitch

You hold the hitch, I think I need to lengthen the tether on mine as there is little room for the hand and I managed to pinch my glove a couple of times today.

looks like theres enough room there. its just not very free flowing.....although i expect it will be considerably different with my full weight on it

It's different and at the same time oddly familiar climbing SRT with the RW.

oh yeah dude, you can so... even smoother than DRT, the tether should be about 11" pulled flat, before you girth it.

Will it be 3 or 5 or 7 years until SRT is valid here...who knows?

I've been messin with art gadgets below the wrench, seems like the lock jack may be a winner. I'll report back!

I've been climbing on a Lockjack Sport for years and will be changing to a Spiderjack or Lockjack Twin soon.
