get some After Bite form the chemist or supermarket. smear yourself with that and the beasties dont come near you but then no one else will either. it might be the smell of ammonia. lol. good stuff for after you have been bitten or stung.:thumbup:

people have probably already mentioned it but try avon skin so soft.

failing that, give liam at treevolution and ask him about smidge, its supposed to be the best stuff about and has got the bonus of no deet

They are swarming up here in Scotland at the mo... Everyone has already named all the brands of ointments and sprays but i keep covered up whenever i can. The midges are bad up here and i wear a light weight balaclava in the morning when its cool enough.

I hear ya mate! i found the only thing for the midges is a net. Especially in the morning or when its drizzly and still. Glad i stay on the east now but i still go over to the west for some torture regularly :thumbup:
