Land rover 130 wanted

As per the title, I'm after a single cab land rover 130 tipper. Must be good mechanically but bodywork condition I'm not too fussed about.

 

I've got a max of £5000 for the right one but would consider a cheaper one which needs work. Must be reliable as I travel about 400 miles a week.

 

Just missed the one on earborist and I've seen the junk one on eBay!

 

May consider a non-tipper to convert, etc.

Have to agree,at five grand you will only get trouble,I think you will want 7.5 thousand up to get a nice thing.

HI matt theres one on ebay 200tdi 130 tipper with winch ebay no 250862255879 its up for £3500 so you will get one for your £5000 but how good will it be i got a 110 300 tdi tipper in good nick with new tipper body for £6500 so that was that 2 years ago its a good land rover all the best jon

Hi, that 139 tipper in thetford norfolk is just down the road from me if you want anyone to take a look at it and report back befor you trek over to these parts, i'ver had a few landrovers so have an idea of what i'm looking.

I wish I had more money to spend on one!!

 

I know I'm not going to find a minter for £5k but a mechanically sound 300tdi with rough body should hopefully be about that price. I might give that one on eBay a look for £3.5k and then spend the rest on doing it up. It's been listed a few times with no bids so a deal may be had.

A 300tdi disco can be found cheap for running gear and a mate owes me a full respray so could get it looking nice at least.

Thanks Tom, I'll keep it in mind. Might give the guy a ring and see if a deal can be made. That one has been listed before but only made £3.5k with reserve not met. Personally I think its a bit overpriced at £5500. I'll pm you if I need you to have a look at it.
