ldv tipper question

i chaps,picked up tango 1 in the week,very pleased with the old girl

on a x plate [2000] 12 months mot/tax,72000 on clock,new tyres all round £1400 very nice drive and will get the job done..

the question is what do you think this red switch is for,the guy who i bought it off did not know,the one on the right is the tipper switch,its the red flip up with button underneath..

all wise cracks welcome:001_rolleyes:ejector seat,rockets,guns,its the button to start a nuclear war blah,blah

 

i dare not press it

Could be tipper isolater switch,to shut off electricity to the tipper motor,(isolate the tippier electric circuit),to prevent accidental tipping when driving.

very pleased with it geoff,had a double cab a few years back,but this one is miles better

yes it looks like a respray sam :thumbup:

i love the colour though,make a change from the good old white.

mind you the original colour is orange but its had a fresh coat

i am pleased with it,great drive and should make the job easier:thumbup:

i had a twin cab a few years ago with a locker box behind cab,which only made the tipper 6x6,i could get more in a trailer,plus it did not run tidy.the new one was cheaper to buy and its ina diff league
