Did this tree this week. Access was bad and the tree was 20ft down in a valley below the swimming pool. Crane was brilliant, we had the whole tree lifted out and all the wood and branches put in or near the lorry in one day. Crane was £300 for the day.

Al your series of pictures for said machine were spot on, thanks for sharing. Although I have mainly seen this type of machine at larger trade shows it is really nice to see the product on the job and the results speak for them self's. I would forward the pictures to the dealer for future consideration of another bigger better model!

@Lancstree - didnt really use the remote as you can only do one operation at a time. In the seat you can raise and slew together so its quicker, and also see the weight being lifted!

@Brushcutter - yes mate Coppards in Godstone - they've got some great kit for tree surgery! 

ELG - they do a bigger one!

I ordered a 376 but they didn't have that ready do gave the 506 for same money - result! The 506 reaches out 15.5m and will pick up 150kg at max reach, close in it will pick up 3t. The 706 reaches out 19m and will pick up 250kg out there, but close in will pick up 6t! The bigger machine is £500 a day, I paid £300 for the one I had.

I've met Mr Coppard himself several times. They do a lot of our track surfacing with that brilliant grader of theres. They're tracked cranes and platforms are ace.
