ms192= the new rear handle version on the 192t tophandle saw...

the rear handle appeared on most markets last year and is currently the only version available in the uk. the rest of the world has had the top handle version for a number of years.

it is classed as a semi-pro/homeowner saw, due to the power output/ robustness of build compared to the 200(t)... it was designed as a trim saw, and is not designed for constant bar length cuts (blocking down stems)

good lightweight little saw, but not a takedown saw... and not a replacement for a 2-hunge

Two points, firstly the ms 192 is a rear handle saw.

Secondly the rule regarding top handle saw sales applies in the uk, in other countries anyone can buy one.

but its exactly the same design as the 200t except for a few minor details such as the fuel is on the same side as the oil. and it's got a ring for the lanyard. so it's surely a top handle saw.

two different saws are being discussed.... ms192 (rear handle, available the world over) ... and 192t (top handle, not available in the uk)... the t is the important bit that is causing the confusion:thumbup1:
