Fair price?

Been offered a lot of Ash coppice to fell on a stacked in woods deal 3 metre lengths, brash to be burnt. The site is excellent and not many obstacles around. We won't have to deal with extraction to hardstanding or forwarding to mill just after opinions on price being offered which is £15 a tonne at weighbridge. There won't be much delay from felling to weighbridge.

Thanks for any input

Dave.

Are you meaning £15/T standing?

If it's failry small diameter stuff and you have to burn up I'd say it's a little high maybe.

good price take it providing u can cut that is no point doinn it if ure a parttimmer wont makemuch money i was just fellin like u wiull be for 17 a ton and was managing 15 to 20 ton a day felling by myself so u need to be hitting 10 ton a day at least to make it pay

Thanks, no part timer here, looking to go in and hit it see how it pans out over the first few loads. Confident it will be worthwhile.
