Had a fallen/snapped out Ash limb to deal with first thing on a byway caused by our old friend Inonotus hispidus.

I became David Bailey today on one of our open days at a site in Sturminster Newton called Butts Pond Meadows. They are protected because of Great Crested Newts which breed on the site and are present all year round.

The bcs pilot is back. :thumbup:The first pic is of a bridleway which is on the annual maintenance run. It is given two cuts a year and this was its first cut.

Not a bad job for a friday. Replacing the roof of our 15 year old interp board as the shiplap boards had rotted out badly.

I'll be bringing both my cameras tomorrow to the arb fair. I've got an old school Konica Minolta Dimage Z2 its only 4mp but i can still get some cracking shots (see below) but also my usual lil compact as a back up as the Z2 eats batteries.
