PTO Log Splitter to fit John Deere 755 Compact Tractor

I’ve got a 1996 John Deere 755 compact tractor sat in my 2,500 sq ft glass house which I haven’t used for years. I would like to know if there is a PTO log splitter on the market that would fit onto the compact tractor, any idea anyone?

I have this 1 that Dean lofthouse ran off his compact Kibuto.

Pm him and he will be able to give you the spec that ran it and Chris Shepherd will know the output required to run it.

I would sell it for £1500.

The 755 three point will lift 350kg and it is a 20hp tractor which is enough to run the splitter no worries.

 

..and if I were being honest, I would have that splitter back over the brand new version I have just bought

Thanks guys. I’ve started the 755 up today but trouble with the pto so got a guy looking at it for me later in the week. Not sure whether to just sell this 755 Compact and buy a full size tractor and log splitter - any benefits in large tractor over compact in terms of log splitting power etc? A tractor with loading shovel and pto log splitter would be ideal but lots of money mmmmmm perhaps I'll just get this compact fixed and buy a pto splitter for it.

I have a splitter that runs off tractor hydraulics I would sell ifyour interested. Might be a bit big for your tractor to carry round if you have to transport it.

Horizontal splitter built on a subsoiler chassis with ram from a 13 ton 360 digger. 32 inch capacity. 2 way and 4 way split. Really heavily built as it takes crane feeding 2 and a half ft thick rings all day every day. I think the weight might be an issue tho as it makes the front end light on a 40 hp conventional tractor

i have a brand new hycrack never been used still got pto shaft straped to to splitter and manual taped to it for sale.

That sounds like a good piece of kit but as you say probably a little too heavy for my compact tractor.
