tractor lover needed

hi guys bought a ford 5610 in december and got stitched,thought I was upgrading,,but alas,,lots of probs hidden by spray job,,,first wiring loom caught fire,,replaced it,,now selector in gearbox gone,,wont go into 2nd or reverse,,anyone mechanically minded fancy a go fixing it? reading /berkshire,,,

See if the ball has worn off the end of the shift lever as if it's worn it won't Push the selector to the correct position. I have had it happen to a few old fords on our farm

 

will do if I can get round to stripping it,,,,down,,,like I said not my cup of tea,,woods my thing,,,,just thought if anyones quiet then come play with tractor,and get some ££££ and friendly chat,,,:thumbup1:
