i am at the barony college in dumfries and yesterday we went shopping :D

 

im just wondering about opinions on the gear i have invested in.

 

sip ultrafit class c trousers

stien class 1 boots

bahco pelter helmet

oregon gloves

 

i got other things but its just water proofs n stuff

 

look forward to opinions :D

hope ive made the rite choices

Cant vouch for most of your kit, but I have the Stein boots and they are wearing well and very comfy.

 

Ditto. I love them... they are all soft and smelly like slippers.

 

As for gloves I have never yet worn chainsaw gloves outside my training. They are perticularly nasty to work in. I guess if you are doing a lot or core wood work they could be a good investment tho.

wen at college i have to wear the protective gloves unfortunatly.

 

i may go into climbing, ive not decided yet like. gonna b trying it towards the end of this course so then i need 2 do another 12 week course on arb or fmo

 

been watching the videos on here and the arb looks like fun but also seen some nasty cuts from kick backs n that kinda scares me ha ha
