I'm really going to have to start looking into this more seriously as I want to be able to take photos like that.

Just started getting into this myself,if it's small & alive I want to snap it!

Great thing is I'm learning about part of our world (slowly),that I never looked at much before,and its on the doorstep more or less.

Hoverflys are getting my attention at the moment!

Geoff,

:thumbup: these macro's of a male Episyrphus balteatus (in Dutch Pyjama's hover fly) and depending on the size, a female Eupeodus luniger (in Dutch Terraces hover fly) or E. corollae (in Dutch Big comma hover fly).
