Hi Janey,There is the nymphs skin on one of the lilly pads where the hatching took place,about 20 or25mm long,I will try & grab a pic tommorow.

These are the little beasties that I'm out surveying for at the moment. The pics aren't the best, unfortunately. They don't look like they could put you in hospital, do they?!

 

The stag just happened to be at the side of the path.

I have not seen any OPM round here,I did get a NASTY rash from a brown tailed that got under my teeshirt last year,nasty blighter

I'm starting to get into the onatas (damsel and dragonflies) and I reckon that's an immature male large red damselfly.

Definitely Damselfly Janey. They fold their wings whereas Dragonflies rest with them open. A good ID tip that is.....

Plural = exuviae
