Tattoo...Tree Related

So after a long time thinking about getting a tattoo I have finally decided that if I can find a good design I will get one. I have always admired good body art but could never decide if I wanted one or not but I think you have to try everything once and a tattoo has always been up there.

I want it to be tree related and not a cheesy gothic design with someone hanging from a low limb , I want a nice, good looking design to show my passion for trees, if I do decide to get one.

Has anyone got any pictures or ideas that would look good as a tattoo?

Best bet is to find an artist who can draw you up a few ideas and then fiddle with them until you have what you want. Alternatively, find a proper tattoo artist and get him/her to do the same thing. You need someone who has some imagination not just your run of the mill pick one off the wall tattoo parlour.

What about this one?

Is that one of yours? The style isn't to my taste, but it's very nicely done . Who's it by?

Edit: I think I'm changing my mind on that; it's definately growing on me and I like more everytime I look at it.

No its not mine. I just found it on a website but I do like the style of it but would have a different colour.

But I would recommend looking for a really good tattoist. Inka in Derby is brilliant if your near that at all pinus but the waiting list is over a year.

That tat looked pretty cool but a bit too colourful.

I've been toying with the idea of a tree/climbing tat. I drew a bit of a tribal monkey to use on business cards originally. May develop it a bit more though.
