A friend sent me this rather poor pic asking for advice. I have bot seen this before, but I assume it is some sort of gall?!? Enlighten me you in the know... ;-)

just teasing mate, plant some oaks up your way dude.:thumbup1:

 

I don't think the OPM need any more fodder over that aways :biggrin:

 

Are there any restrictions on planting oaks in Sweden, either in guideline or legislature because of OPM?

allrith!!! I told you I have never seen this! I've seen oakapplegalls but they were smaller and with a reddish tint, I assumed they were similar but not the same. We do have oaks here but not gallapples as far as I'm aware of yet. Opm is not a problem as far as I'm aware... I'll show you a nice oak I befriended last week...

The only Opm:s that have been recorded is in the very south and only about five locations.
