i need help on buying a new rope i had a new englend hi vis and a yale xtc fire i have burnt both of them from coming down to fast from a tree does any one know of a rope that doesnt burn from coming fast down a tree thanx

What hitch and hitch cord do you use?

 

A friction hitch cord with a high melting point will burn your rope more than a cheap polyester type cord.
