Dave can you get an articulated lorry in there with a walking floor trailer ? And could the farmer load the lorries with a telehandler or similar ?

 

Yes you can get an artic in no problem.

 

He can load with a John Deer with front loader, how high does he need to reach?

Buzz, managed to get a decent storage area on concrete,good access etc. Only have about 30 ton at present that might be some good.Just worried that the farmi running on 540pto might be making chips to big. Is there anything that should not go in the pile.Conifer etc.

All woody material chipped is fine mate. The key is to leave the pile to sit for a week or so, so that the conifer brown's off. The Farmi chip should be fine.

 

The most important thing is to keep logs, rubbish, metal and soil etc out of the pile. Even if it's on dirt the key is to leave 6"'s to load off.
