Hi, thanks for the comments, they do go for big money and do fetch it too.. but then again all landys go for big money (also have a landy business on the side u see ;)) We have worked with tis car and its great were looking for 11k ono for it but there are 300's going for more money which is unrealistic!

The defenders will always hold there money especially because they are changing 2012/13 so the old style will again rocket in price!

Usually when a new model comes out the old models price drops. Can't understand why a Land Rover would be any different?:confused1:

Newer model defenders are usually down on power/tunability compared to the outgoing model due to euro emission regulations. Defenders aren't bought for improved aesthetics or comfort like most road going cars they are bought to work and gagging the engines, making them less DIY or less durable to meet eu legislation does not do the sales of new models any favours

Nice answer Kev!

Also the defender is a 26 year old classic.... minor changes over the years, the new is very sophisticated and modern... much like the modern disco! So workhorse... anything but!

Put it like this... 1995 range rover when was new was £57k - 1995 defender 110 new was £22k NOW 1995 range rover £1 - 2k! / 1995 Defender £5k - 9k!

Defenders are a different breed altogether.... I think many defender owners or entusiasts get what I mean :)
