husq strimmer flooding or starved

husq 232 strimmer starts ok , runs for a while (30 seconds) then dies, under load cant work out if its flooding or starved of fuel, new carb kit fitted and carb adjusted l1 h1 , just think ive got it running right then get the whab whab and then picks up to full throttle then the whab whab again and i havent been drinking lol, any ideas

If your strimmer was playing up/running hot before the new carb was fitted it may be worth having a look at the exhaust port (take the exhaust off) as this could be coked up which would not let the engine run properly.

Easy fix if your carefull.

one of the first things i did was to take exhaust off and check spark arrest screen(hasnt got one) but havent checked the actual exhaust for coke, also ive noticed where the 2 carb screws fix into plastic housing to fix the carb,i cant tighten them up as the threads seem to be shot, im guessing i could be getting an air leak there, need to find a way to fill holes and re tap a thread some how, or i could set fire to it and go and buy a new strimmer lol
