Friction rope opinions

It's gonna cost me £30 for the friction cord with 2 sewn ends, £32 for a pulley and £23 for another karabina, that's the best part of 100 notes hanging off the end of my rope.....is it really going to help me climb any better than a piece of cord that costs a fiver. Maybe if I was 20 years younger.

I'm going to try some Beal Regate though, I used to work with a lad years ago who used that and he was a fat boy so it's bound to hold me.

First of all, don't but eye2eye hitch cord cos its expensive. Buy a long length that you can cut to the lengths you need and tie a fishermans on the ends.

Saves dosh and does the same job.

Secondly, none of this will make you climb better but better gear makes climbing easier.

Thirdly, forget my first point and your last post. Buy a Lockjack or Spiderjack as this will turn things round for you and is the cheapest option by far👍.
