So you cut some product to a specification for the mill but other wood is going to a different mill who specify underbark (TDUB) whereas mill #1 specifed TDOB;

no problem but apart from eye measuring the difference what is the actual difference? 1"? Other?

Get the magical blue book out!! Not sure off the top of my head but it'll tell you in there. Probably depends on how much m3 you are cutting to see much difference, as some species obviously have thin bark and some can have quite thick bark.

Logical imo too but eurof want ob for some reason on this lot.

I wonder if it is for wood chip fuel power a kiln or the like?

surley meter or tonnage all the woodchip we done for slough power station was on weight

I do a fair bit of milling and the slab does pile up, we chip it. If you had a big fancy mill that does kiln drying and all sorts of other things why not get a woodchip boiler and get some of your heating out of a by product.

 

Only an idea i've only really worked in OB.

your buying wood you dont use or is there a allowance on ob sorry but never cut or sold using ob:confused1:
