Can any one advise me on this please, I bought a hitchclimber pulley to try in my system, but the connection to my saddle makes it awkward to use! at the moment I have a mallion rapide that I connect too, if I discard the mallion and join directly to the saddle am I loading the Carabiner correctly or should I just learn to live with it ImageUploadedByTapatalk1304615500.214273.jpg.31a6e97df710208ef038c07bea388b69.jpg

the karabina does look like its getting loaded funny also if its sliding round there could be a good chance of this opening the gate, is there no adjustment on the harness to add your own sliding-D, what harness is that anyway mate.

There is no adjustment or anyway of adding to the bridge, it works ok connected to the mallion but the pulley sticks out the side as a result the rope is slightly twisted.

can see that buddy, had that with an old harness of mine to, only other option is new harness if you got the money mate.

Or an oval mallion or ring added to the existing one then clip into that. That will align the karabiner correctly but will add more metal work to an already over cmplicated set up.

Paul, have a look at the Kolibri Multislide Harness. Not used one myself but apparantly very good for the larger climber!

I thought you'd be at the pub by now Rupe, I'll try a ring first, but I'll look into that harness I think that's the way forward cheers again for advice, now get down the pub and celebrate your 50th!! (I prefer big boned climber)!!

Hi,

Why not just get rid of the maillon?? I cant see a problem with any side loading there.

Cut up an old bike inner tube to stop the side loops riding up, also so the left hand one does not start catching the gate.
