Value of a live tree?

Thinking about it, what your saying is "offering it back" Thats fine and correct. I was argueign against throwing it back over the fence, which is a a different thing. So your right.

I don't think anyone offered the debris from their own tree would ever accept it, or want it, so its a moot point (is that supposed to be "mute"?)

Ultimatly neighbours should all talk to each other more.

Hows the bike? what have you got these days?

That would really P' off your neighbour wouldn't it? First you vandalise their tree and then you fly tip all the arisings in theie garden! Talk about adding insult to injury.

Still on the subject of what I would go, if it was the other way around and it was my tree that had been fubar'd then no, I wouldn't go to the police about it. I would, however, get as much evidence as possible and inform the LA of their actions.

... And then set about acts of petty revenge to make my neighbour's life hell for a while :sneaky2:

I'm still in a long term, stable relationship with my significant other. I think we're going to be together for the foreseeable :001_wub:.

Sold it when I bought an arb truck, I have a car aswell so three was too many insurance policies!! Might get another one day if I have a mid life crisis which should be any day now!

Hahaha, that's such an old man's bike  Did you have the pipe and slippers as well? And there was me thinking you wasn't that old, either.

So are you heading towards your Harley phase in life ? Or are you going to do it properly and get the ridiculously powerful sports bike with matching leathers? (A bit like moi :blushing:).

Thanks, thats why I sold it! It was ok as my first bike, and I wasn't so old then but I soon realised it was not for me, but not sure what my ideal bike would be. I prefer long journeys rather than sunday outings but I take my dog everywhere so its estate cars for now! Maybe one day, depending on the type of crisis! But wouldn't be seen dead on a harley.

To completely and utterly derail this thread, how's this for a suggestion for combining your obvious love of Harleys and walking the dog. No know you want to:

I think the derail is complete!! My dog is 13 and a bit so wont be here for long, and will probably trigger the crisis when he goes!!

A tourer of some type would do me, but I might even not get anything and build a camper van instead, who knows.

Nah, go for the 'bike instead. You get to dress up as a Power Ranger that way

You could get some serious mileage done on a beast like that. Look at all that panier space - you could fit most of my wordly possessions in there and still have space left over for a spare duvet or two

Is this the start of your very own Long Way Diagonally? And have you informed Missus Rupe that she does, in fact, love motorbikes and that she's really looking forward to touring with you while you're going through you Charley Boreman phase?
