Advice on collages to do the foundation degree or even a degree!

Hi,

Is the assessment procedure all assignment work or are there exams and practical exercises as well?

majority of assessment are assignments, i have done one exam (last year) and several "short tests" in each module

 

and with me doing it online all the "practical stuff" is done by the students attending the college and we get the methods and results thoroughly documented for us to read

Is the exam online or do you need to attend the college site

nope its online, but you need to have a modulator (friend/neighbour/witness) who can say that you've done the exam in the allotted time without cheating

 

i did it in me kitchen whilst a neighbour ( i know and trust as he's an ex teacher) sat in my living room watching telly:thumbup:

Thanks for that, I,m starting in September and don,t really know what i,ve let myself in for.

I,ve got a couple of units of the Prof. Dip. but found it difficult, hopefully this will be more achievable.

as long as you put the time and effort into reading the information that they give PLUS the extra needed on top as well you should be fine

 

i've been told though the second year is much tuffer (tougher)
