Logsplitter conversion

Did you ever get your splitter powered up? :thumbup1:

Just been down this morning and tested the splitter on the loader hydraulics

The loader has three pumps, one for driving the wheels and two that can be brought in independently for aux services

With one pump running it's just as it should be, nice and powerful, loads of grunt.

If you bring in the second pump, it it just as powerful, but twice as fast

I'm chuffed to bit with that setup now, glad I converted it from three point mount and pto drive

The real test is after it has split a barn full of wood without an hiccup

Sounds like a good setup, I would be interested to see a vid to compare if you get time, as I have the exact same splitter. Fantastic machine with the system leader controls, never felt the need to convert to one handed with this setup!!

it looks wery neat. and glad it works well. are you able to opprate the from the cab and with the splitters spoolblock its self. if so how have you gone about doing this. I was think about ringind up big logs so they fall on two boards so there was a gap between them so the base of the splitter would fit under the logs.

i would love to try this but i do not have a splitter,

i would love one but the cost of one just for logs 18" and larger big open fires rule. o am going to stick to a wedges for the time being or bowro one. it's is mostly elm too
