im looking to buy my first saw soon. im currently working in a factory as after leaving the army at the beginning of the year i could not find a job doing tree work so i dont have a huge budget so will have to be a second hand one!

could anyone recomend a good saw for around £200? i know this is probably a big ask but....

i want it for general purpose work, mabye some climbing hopefully!

thanks for any suggestions!

Mick

P.S if anyone knows of any jobs going in the south yorkshire area please let me know!

£200 = Stihl 026 in reasonable condition - good ground saw

£250 = Husqvarna 346 (45cc)

£300 = hUSQVARNA 346 (50CC) SILVERSIDE!

There are others - Husqvarna 350, 345, Stihl 024 but may be a little less desirable.

If you are going to climb, a top handle MS200T or less costly 020T Stihl but don't even think about using one unless you have received training!
