What time are things kicking off on the friday? I understand there aint no comp events until the saturday morning, but is there any time to have a look at the trees etc before hand?

I'll be there. I don't know anyone though as I just usually sit back and soak up the knowledge, but I am here everyday.

So if anyone fancies a beer or 12 on Friday and Saturday night I'll be happy to step up.

gear check and regestration will be open from around lunch time on friday, get there early to avoid the evening rush and so the volunteers who will be working can get to bed at a reasonable time. there will be plenty of time in the evening/or after their set up to look at the trees, and there will be a walk round on saturday morning to go over each event/tree before the comp starts

just shy of 30 paid and comfirmed so far. time is running out and i know that there's a few more that said they would be coming.

I'll get mine in soon, just going to join the ISA first and then apply.

Judge, a quick question. The majority of my gear is only just reached the 6 month mark and with being on the degree course at Moulton it hasn't seen much action. My question is: Do I still need a LOLER certificate or could I get away with the check on the day?
