THE SITE IS LOOKING GREAT, THE TREES LOOK CHALLENGING AND THE ORGANISATION SEEMS TO BE ON TRACK .

JUST NEED THE GOOD WEATHER TO CONTINUE AND THIS WILL BE A GREAT WEEKEND.

ENTRIES

It's brilliant that some old favourites have been in touch and intend competing this year to show the young pretenders how it's done !

We're expecting a contingent from Northern and sothern Ireland, and that's always worth watching, (the climbing that is) !

The Swedes are coming to these shores again !

The Welsh are on their way – in case they get lost they are leaving early!

In short – the places are filling up so if you are hoping to compete you need to get your entry form in very quickly.

SPONSORSHIP

HONEY BROTHERS are doing a great job and other sponsors have also joined them to add to the fun.

The SAM ROBINSON SPIRIT OF THE COMPETITION AWARD, will this year be sponsored by Steve and Arbtalk, who will be giving a individual trophy to the winner as a keepsake, the main trophy being returnable each year.

Goodie bags will be handed to every competitor, technician and judge and at the moment are valued at least £25.00, with sponsorship still coming in weekly.

SIP will be supplying some goodies for the bags!

They have also agreed to make special climbing trousers for the European Team and the Chapter Champions, giving us a cool look for those lucky enough to qualify !

for climbers the BBQ IS INCLUDED IN YOUR ENTRY FEE,

for anyone wanting extra tickets, £6.00 each, and this is not a BBQ of normality – this is something else !(for those who go to the 'first call' bbq its the same caterers)

judges and techs will get a bbq ticket as its the least we can do as these events wouldnt happen with out them.

as i said in other post camping is included in the entry fee and free for judges and techs, others will be £5 for the weekend

there are other events happening over the weekend at the museum and there will be working displays, though i dont know why some things are in a museum, Some of us are probably still using some of this stuff !

The 'antique' Sawmill will be working on Sunday,
