I've only been doing it a few years and I've already got white finger in my left ring finger which started about a year and a half in... I'm not 100% sure if it's from tree work but it would probably make sense. Also covered in thick skinned blisters and are as rough as sand paper... nasty, time to start moisturising before i loose my hands in 10 years time ha

I suffer with the next best thing to raynaud's syndrome i get terrible chill blains hands and toes the doc has given me eumovate cream(steroid cream)and nifedipine 5mg (blood pressure tablets)they increase blood flow to the restricted area and flush the vessels by all accounts i was told to only take them if i get real bad though i personally find prevention is better than cure there is nothing worse than having sore or numb fingers best thing you can do is invest in stuff to keep you better insulated and increase exercise ,ginko,garlic and oranges are all supposed to help circulation .....and moisturize I guess although i always forget got a cupboard full of the stuff but never use it lol

 

would definatley speak to the doctor though and see what they say

 

The wife suffers really badly with them too and the itching drives her nuts. How does the cream work for them?

I find it does help them to heal them a lot quicker than if they were just left either get her to pop to the docs or get some hc45 from the pharmacy same stuff topical steroid cream and see if it helps
