nice example i was told that the boot lases of honey fungus glow in the dark and they were hung up to light up barns anybody else heard of this?or someone playing a joke on me

 

I heard the same on radio4, they said it was the origin of the magic wand.

I find Honey Fungus 'boot laces' occasionally within my local woodland when I carry out a little work for the owners. It won't kill off the woodland will it? They live quite harmonious I understand but in an arboretum or garden they are considered the plague? Can you confirm or deny this speculation?

Thanks & yeah I've heard that too, apparently they use to be put on soldiers helmets during World War 1 when it was dark to show friendlies of their position or something... I don't really see how that would be very efficient but whatever ha :thumbup1:
