Gotta love that "forest protection":lol:

 

hope that it stops the diisease spreading all over the uk :confused1:

i think they are trying to contain it,but saying that it came to south wales from the south west of england?

 

we have been told that the forestry commision are going to replace with redwoods :flute:

Thanks. As a matter of interest what's the difference when milling?

 

It has a redish colour to it where as European is quite white/yellow. Hybrid too has the redish tinge. I've always found the Jap/Hybrid have a lot more tension in the wood when milling. Feels like it weighs more too.

 

All three Larchs burn very well, nice and hot. I burn a lot.
