Orange or Yellow Hi Viz?

The one gripe I have with hi-viz is the fact that yellow attracts flies and mini-beasts like a plague. Is orange less attractive to them...does anyone know or even care?

Come on m8 yellow hi-vic is now 'English national costume' (with matching 'bum cleavage) you can't change it or it may cause offence with orange in N I

 

I noticed a long time ago British rail use orange and some shooting ranges, and there is a trend towards orange more, and yelow really attracts the bugs.

Orange is good, just put your hair up in little pigtails, chew on a baby dummy and wear nice white cotton gloves.

Apparently deer cannot see the colour Orange, so you could run the risk of being accidently speared with an antler from a grazing deer :-)

Personally i can't stand yellow.... the link to council workers puts me off i think!!! orange for arb!!
