NPTC CS Unit 45 Arb Groundworker

Does anyone know of anyone at all who has this??

 

It would appear to be the holy grail of NPTC Units, and as rare as rocking horse sh!te.

IMHO nptc rather missed a great opotunity with htis unit and ended up with a watered down pile of goo rather than what it was orriginnally aimed at

Yes, I've got this unit ,not sure how/why or what I did to get it! Did it same day as CS41 assessment.

I do remember being asked to go and start a blower.....one guy did fail for lack of ear/eye protection.

Is more to do with being a knowledgeable good groundie in rigging situations.

I've done the CS45 training while on my Arb/Forestry groundpersons course. Never did an assessment in it though as nobody else did as time and pennys were tight.

why watered down well you have to use a rigging set up blow and rake cut up a lump of tree the bit they missed is all the supporting info to help the climber there is no requirment to understand nor set up the rigging stuff just hold the rope, shame it was orriginally written with that in it.
