Hove based bod here would be up for a reccy climb. How does Stanmer park in Brighton sound to people got some nice trees to monkey round? Its right on the A27 and also has good public transport options, buses and a train station across the road.

Hi, I'm Hampshire based and interested.

I was out for a climb earlier in the woods by my house, had thrown my rope over the first anchor point, was about to put my harness on when I noticed someone was just standing there staring at me. Then I realised I was on my own in the woods with what looked like a noose hanging just above my head! I think he thought I was about to end it all!

Classic. Some woman came up to me in the woods the other day screaming "oh my god" at her husband! hahaha I bombed it out of the tree really fast and looked at her and said "are you alright, I heard you screaming" hahah:laugh1::lol: Why, if I was going to hang myself would I go to such effort with so much jangly kit?!?
