Getting funding for Training?

Unfortunately it is only available in Scotland, I am not too sure of other funding routes south of the border.

We applied for this funding. Whilst they will fund any ground work based training, they will not fund any training that involves working at height.

Has anyone come across any source of funding for working at height available in Scotland?

I think a lot of the funding has dried up these days.

One option that I don't think has been touched on is - occasionally people fail to turn up for the course even though they've paid for it and as it may be non refundable the training provider may offer the place for free or at a discounted rate.

If you don't mind the wait it could be worth looking into.
