Could you really get just under £500 for that job?:001_huh:

£400 including vat is well under £500. For that, it would look terrific and everything tidied up. You wouldn't get that price walking in off the street but if they've seen pictures of your work or you've been personally referred by a friend then that price is easily winnable. Customers are willing to pay more for the reassurance that their tree project won't lead to a load of hassle, damage or bad feeling. I doubt anyone who owns a house like that always just buys the cheapest stuff.

Hi all, I am doing this brutal reduction on an oak for a friend and have my own climbing gear and saw and only need to hire a trailer and maybe a groundi (or the mrs).

I've only done jobs on my day rate for other climbers before and have no idea what price to charge maybe "mates rates" or just forget they are friends for a minute.

Any advise on prices etc would be great.

thanks:thumbup:

ps sorry for the hijack
