A rather palid & desicated Dryads saddle, with dinner guests preparing to order

 

:thumbup: good thing it is still attached to the tree. I once took a specimen home and left it on a kitchen table to see what bugs come out, but I didn't get a chance to study it, because the next day my wife was so shocked :confused1: by the saddle moving about and around the table, that she threw it out :001_tongue: .

ha ha, I once left a laetiporus sulpureus bracket on top of a shelf at home to dry, checked it a week later and the bugs inside had hatched and bored so many holes the fras was a couple of |MM deep! wont be doing that indoors again!:lol:
