I may have to start putting my prices up next season, currently weve been selling good hardwoods (oak/ash/alder) for £80 1.2 cubic meters (delivered 10 mile radius) and the margins are getting ever smaller now with the fuel price rise/ vat etc.

That price is pretty standard around where I am west gloucestershire, are prices regionally different?

I really dont see why there should be regional variations in prices the government dont apply that to fuel taxes

This year will be £100 mixed hardwood this year, £120-00 just oak, £90 mixed all per cubic meter delivered. Half the people who call don't order and complain about the price but still sold 300 cubic meters before Christmas (sold out).

Stick to your guns and prices!
